Job SummaryThe Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for overseeing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote all product groups at GWS Tool Group. They will drive product adoption and revenue growth by developing positioning, messaging, and go‑to‑market strategies. This role works closely with product management, sales, and marketing to ensure that products meet customer needs and stand out in the market.
Duties/Responsibilities- Develop clear and compelling product positioning around GWS Tool Group’s value proposition.
- Ensure consistent messaging across multiple social media platforms in regard to launch materials, campaigns, and sales resources.
- Supports end-to-end planning for new product launches with product development and engineering.
- Supports and creates launch content for new product releases, video content and sales flyers.
- Conducts competitive analysis to understand and differentiation and market opportunities.
- Partners with sales optimize to customer engagement and conversions.
- Works closely with product managers to understand roadmaps, features, and end user needs.
- Works with channel management and national channels on marketing campaigns, and website development; product numbers, banners, campaign flyers, etc.
- Translates complex technical concepts into clear customer focused messages that highlight the value and benefits of the GWS brand.
- Assist in developing and executing brand strategy to strengthen brand positioning and awareness.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in B2B marketing within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and platforms (SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing).
- Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle and go to market strategies
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate technical information into customer value
- Experience in collaborating with sales, product development, engineering, and marketing teams.
- Knowledge of competitive analysis and market research tools
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds at times.
