Demand Analyst

Taylor, MI | Full-Time | Exempt

Oakwood Group is looking for a data-driven, analytical Demand Analyst to join our MP&L team. If you thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and enjoy turning data into actionable insights, this is your opportunity to make an impact on our supply chain performance.

What You’ll Do
  • Analyze historical data, market trends, and statistical models to forecast product demand
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments
  • Track forecast accuracy across customers, products, and programs
  • Lead demand & supply review meetings and support S&OP processes
  • Develop and maintain KPIs (forecast bias, variability, value-added)
  • Identify capacity constraints and implement action plans
  • Drive process improvements across scheduling, logistics, and inventory management
Collaboration & Impact

You’ll work cross-functionally with:

  • Customer Service & Account Management
  • Scheduling, EDI, and Logistics Teams
  • Engineering, Operations, IT, Finance, and Purchasing

You’ll also build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure business alignment and success.

What You Bring Experience & Education
  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a business-related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of demand planning/forecasting experience in automotive manufacturing (Tier 1 or Tier 2 preferred)
Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
  • Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience (IQMS preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
