Job Description & Requirements

TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a temporary 13‑week assignment in Taylor, Michigan. This role provides 35 hours of work per week across 8‑hour day shifts and is structured as a travel assignment.

Immediate start. One year of experience preferred; exceptional candidates may apply with six months of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

• Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe them performing tasks.
• Evaluate a patient's condition and needs.
• Develop a treatment plan, identifying specific goals and activities to help the patient work toward those goals.
• Help people with various disabilities perform daily tasks.
• Evaluate a patient's home or workplace, and propose improvements based on health needs.
• Educate family and employers on accommodations and care.
• Recommend equipment and instruct patients on its use.
• Assess and record patient activities and progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and insurance guidelines.

• Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Board‑certified (NBCOT‑OTR) and BLS qualification.
• State‑specific licensing in Michigan.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and to bend or stoop without difficulty.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Pay package is based on 35 hours per week with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
