Role OverviewAs a Mammography Tech, you will perform radiologic breast imaging procedures under the direction of a Radiologist, aiding in the evaluation of pathological entities as ordered by physicians. Your expertise ensures accurate and safe imaging, directly impacting patient diagnosis and treatment. This role is vital in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our diagnostic services.

What You Will Do- Perform radiologic breast imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Utilize independent judgment to determine appropriate radiographic techniques and positioning.
- Ensure adherence to safety practices and department protocols.
- Maintain compliance with Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and other regulatory requirements.
- Complete required hours of continued medical education to stay current with industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Mammography, ARRT (M) (or registry eligible).
- If registry eligible, must obtain registry within 12 months of hire.
- Prior experience in mammography or breast imaging.
- Familiarity with MQSA and regulatory compliance.
