Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in industrial storage and material handling products, is seeking a dedicated Powder Coat Associate to join their dynamic production team. As a Powder Coat Associate, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing process, supporting the team in delivering high-quality products efficiently. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to work, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Powder Coat Associate
Location: Taylor, MI
Pay Range: $17-$19 per hour
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Currently working 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM due to production volume. Schedule will return to 3:30 PM as volume decreases.)
What's the Job?
- Apply powder coating to metal products using established techniques and procedures.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot powder coating equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect coated products for quality, consistency, thickness, and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE to ensure a safe working environment.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 6 months of continuous powder coating application experience.
- Knowledge of powder coating techniques and industrial painting methods.
- Ability to operate and maintain powder coating equipment effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic to meet production goals.
