SMS group is seeking Welding Lathe Operators to set up and operate welding lathes and perform Arc, MIG and TIG welding and burning on rolls and journals. The right candidate will work with minimal direction from supervisors and monitor roll temperatures, adjusting heat as required, while maintaining furnace routines as needed.
Education required is High School diploma or equivalent with the ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
