Join a team dedicated to keeping automated CNC and welding cells running at their best. Your expertise in Nachi, Yaskawa Motoman, FANUC, and OTC Daihen robots turns complex paths into smooth, repeatable motion—and ensures production targets are met safely and efficiently.
Impact you will make
Own the setup and programming of machine‑tending robots to achieve precise part loading/unloading into CNC machinery and welding systems.
Continuously monitor automation, driving improvements in uptime, reliability, and productivity.
Diagnose and resolve issues across robots, controllers, and supporting systems to reduce downtime.
Calibrate arms, EOAT, and sensors; validate performance through testing.
Execute preventive and predictive maintenance routines.
Measure with calipers and gauges; record process data; escalate quality deviations.
Read technical drawings and adhere to established work instructions.
Coach operators and peers; promote knowledge sharing and teamwork.
Maintain a clean, orderly cell and comply with environmental guidelines; always use PPE.Qualifications3+ years hands‑on with robotic platforms: FANUC, OTC Daihen, Nachi, Yaskawa Motoman.
Skilled in multi‑axis programming for material handling and tending.
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting proficiency.
CAD/CAM exposure; familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems is advantageous.
Effective communicator; meticulous; collaborates well and works independently when required.
Available for overtime, including weekends and call‑ins.
Technical diploma or associate degree in robotics/automation.
Competence reading blueprints, prints, and check sheets.
Strong time management and urgency; able to quickly solve unexpected issues.
Knowledge of safety practices and regulations, including MIOSHA and other governmental requirements; comfortable in manufacturing environments.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Physical requirements
Sit, squat, walk, and bend for 8–10 hours daily.
Lift 50+ lbs.
Work in varied weather; routine exposure to active production areas.
Environment and equipmentCNC machining, robotic welding, and assembly shop settings.
Automation equipment, CNC machines, welding robots, assembly fixtures, and specialized tools.
Frequent work inside automated production cells.
Safety expectationsPPE is mandatory within production areas.
Adhere to company safety protocols and MIOSHA standards at all times.
