Your core responsibilities

Install, program, and adjust machine‑tending robots for precise load/unload into CNC machines and robotic welding cells.

Monitor automation health and implement improvements that boost reliability and productivity.

Troubleshoot robots, controllers, and integrated systems to keep downtime to a minimum.

Set up, calibrate, and test robotic arms, sensors, and end‑of‑arm tooling.

Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to sustain peak performance.

Use calipers and gauges to verify processes; document and report any quality or process deviations.

Read technical drawings and follow established procedures without deviation.

Mentor teammates; contribute to a collaborative, safety‑focused culture.

Maintain housekeeping, follow environmental practices, and wear PPE at all times.

Experience and skills

Minimum 3 years with robotic systems including FANUC, OTC Daihen, Nachi, and Yaskawa Motoman.

Proven capability programming multi‑axis robotic material‑handling applications.

Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting ability.

CAD/CAM experience; understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical controls is a plus.

Clear communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Willing to work overtime, weekends, and respond to call‑ins as needed.

Technical diploma or associate degree in robotics automation.

Comfort reading blueprints, prints, and check sheets.

Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Excellent time management and urgency; adept at handling unexpected challenges and delivering rapid solutions.

Solid grasp of safety procedures and regulations, including MIOSHA and other government standards; experience in manufacturing environments.

Physical and workplace details

Sitting, squatting, walking, and bending for 8–10 hours per day.

Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Work across different weather conditions with exposure to an active production environment.

Operate in CNC machining, robotic welding, and assembly shop areas using automation, CNC equipment, welding robots, assembly fixtures, and specialized tools—often inside automated production cells.

Safety firstPPE is required in production areas.

Follow company safety protocols and MIOSHA regulations.
