Volunteer Office OpportunitiesBecome a SJH Office Volunteer
Thank you for your consideration in becoming an SJH Office volunteer! Being a part of our family of office volunteers is crucial to the overall success of SJH. It is a hands-on opportunity to interact with our clients in need. We partner with several work-study programs at schools for interested students.
- Answer phone calls from seniors, veterans, disabled, and other neighbors in need.
- Collect data from our clients on the work they need performed.
- Work with the client and field volunteer to schedule the work.
- Follow the project case from beginning to completion.
- Contact parishes, organizations, and businesses to set up outreach opportunities.
- Miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Our office is open from 9am-3pm, Monday through Friday. If you like helping others and have a patient, compassionate heart, we'd love to have you join us!
After you complete the application, one of our office volunteers will reach out to you to go through a brief orientation and review required documents prior to beginning volunteer experience. You will be trained to use our programs and start taking calls from clients in need!
We can't wait to meet you!
We host volunteer luncheons and events throughout the year, so we can get to know you and celebrate our volunteers.
Thank you and God Bless!
