Sales​/Business Development - Packaging Products

Job Description

Our client is expanding his team with this new Sales position! They are an established company who have a strong foothold in their market. This is a newly created position to capitalize on a market segment they haven’t fully explored (non-automotive, food, beverage, specialty industries). Because of that, this is truly a prospecting, sales, business development role where you are cultivating a prospect list through contacts, introductions and outreach.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience in packaging, packaging related products and sales.

The right candidate will have:

• B2B sales experience in a short sales cycle
• Understand the need for creativity and collaboration in working with prospects to solve their problem (not selling out of a catalog)
• Strong communication and follow up skills. Our client is top tier in service with their customers and it starts with good communication.
• Ability to work independently, plan their territory and go  client does not micromanage. He’s involved throughout the process, but he won’t micromanage you. He’s hiring you for your experience.

Salary of $50 - $70k base plus strong commission structure. Commission is recurring. Awesome benefit package, including 401k plus matching, BCBS health coverage and PTO. This position will be remote/hybrid, but you’ll be coming into the office for training, meetings with team members, meetings with prospects, and more.
