Sales Trainee

Overview

This is a training role that is designed to prepare the Sales Trainee (ST) for the Account Sales Manager (ASM) role. The ST will support sales initiatives and provide route coverage for the ASM during vacation, sickness, injury or special projects as needed.

In addition to supporting sales, the ST will work with management to maintain customer relationships between sales, merchandising, and operations for all large and small format "off premise" stores, ensuring safe, productive, and professional service in compliance with Red Bull executional standards.

The Sales Trainee role is a training position. Upon successful completion of the training program, the ST is eligible to interview for open ASM roles. If no ASM or other qualified role is available and the ST meets performance standards, the employee may remain in the ST role up to 12 months, or until an ASM or other qualified role is available, whichever comes first.

If an ASM or other qualified role becomes available, the certified ST must interview for that role. If promotion does not occur before the 12‑month period expires, the ST role will be vacated unless an exception applies. A manager may extend the period an additional six months based on continued high performance, no open roles, and certification completion. The ST position is at‑will.

Understand and learn the basics of Red Bull and Red Bull Distribution Company, the brand and products. Build and protect the brand through proper rotation to ensure fresh product, set proper brand flow following Red Bull standards, and establish and maintain friendly, professional relationships with customers to increase sales.

Obtain all tools (insights, displays, Point of Sale, pricing, etc.) to execute the daily plan. Communicate effectively with ASMs/DSMs on daily priorities and train with ASMs.

Follow global strategy for in‑store execution measured by Winning vs Competition (WVC) & Perfect Store Audit (PSA). Cover ASM routes as needed and meet daily KPI focused on sales, distribution, pricing, display, new accounts, and merchandising.

Support the team with audits, blitz, building displays, and merchandising to effectively drive sales. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid US Driver’s License and obtainment of DOT Medical card
• Obtainment of DOT Medical card
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Experience in customer service and sales is a plus
• Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays
• English; additional languages an advantage
