RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is a growing powerhouse in the Trucking Industry. RSS has been in business for over 32 years, and has nearly 400 team members located in 17 states! We are currently looking to expand our shop team in the Taylor, MI area.

A successful candidate for this position would be a Level I or II Trailer Mechanic. Someone with an understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and who also has experience with some basic trailer repair. Applicant should be self-motivated, safety-minded, and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.

• $22-$25/hour.
• Quarterly performance Bonus after 90 days.
• Schedule:
  Monday-Friday/Days!
• Paid holiday.
• 401K.
• Bi-weekly paychecks. Overtime after 40 hours.
• Clothing & boot allowance after 90 days.

• Inspect and diagnose malfunctions on all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair and replace defective components.
• Perform regular check-ups and preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including: ABS, air brakes, frame, body, suspension and electrical systems.
• Coordinate with other staff to receive, execute and bill work in a timely & proper manner.
• Help maintain positive working relationships with current customers.

• Must have at least 1yr of direct Trailer repair experience

• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a physical and drug screen.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
