Machinery Maintenance & Repair Tech. – Taylor, MI
Job Description:
- Pump Maintenance: 1" – 3" progressive cavity, diaphragm, & gear styles. Packing replacement & mechanical seal maintenance.
- Mixer Maintenance: shaft bearing, seals, glands, & packing replacement.
- Motor & Drive maintenance:
Drive belt & chain replacement. Coupler repair. Gearbox reducer remove & disassemble. Motor plate adjustment. - Pneumatically actuated valve repair: ball, gate, & butterfly styles.
- Ability to install, cut, & thread pipe.
- Basic HVAC understating.
- Basic electrical & wiring understanding.
- Basic air compressor understanding.
- Basic water chiller understanding.
- Basic vacuum pump repair.
- Basic home / office & maintenance.
- Some welding skill.
- Fork lift certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Able to lift 50+ pounds.
- + Experience in paint shops or other chemical plants.
- + Scale & load cell install & repair experience.
- + PLC & sensor install & repair experience.
- + Hydraulic repair experience.
- + Overhead door repair.
- 1st Shift: 6 AM–2 PM Monday–Friday.
- 2nd Shift: 2 PM–10 PM Monday–Friday.
- 3rd Shift: 10 PM–6 AM Sunday–Thursday.
- Monday through Friday; frequent Saturdays and Sundays.
