Apartment Maintenance Technician

Position

McKinley is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at one of our communities located in Taylor, MI.

$18 - $24/hour based on experience + on call bonuses.

• Diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, dry wall repair, appliance maintenance, carpet cleaning and exterior structure maintenance.
• Ensure the physical aspects of the property meet company standards and applicable laws.
• Keep the apartment community clean and orderly.
• Perform on‑call duty including weekends, holidays, and snow removal in winter months.

• A minimum of six months related experience and/or training in plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• Desire to provide exceptional customer service with every interaction.
• Great communication skills and professionalism.
• Comfortable bringing and using own basic hand tools.
• A valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
• Walk between buildings; a golf cart is not provided.
• Previous property management experience preferred.
