Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing Walmart facility refrigeration, HVAC equipment and assets. Uses commercial HVAC & refrigeration skills and a variety of tools to complete jobs, document repair activities, ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, and respond to emergency maintenance calls.

• Maintain and repair refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using hand, digital, and power tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders and document repair activities.
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to safely operate equipment and tools.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines by following Walmart Refrigeration HVAC safety policy.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights.

• 10 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Type I/Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and able to pass a motor vehicle report.
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Large‑scale rack refrigeration experience.
• Associate of Applied Science in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
• HVAC‑R/Mechanical Journeyman certification.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, or material handling equipment.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, or OUI in the last five years.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Experience with glycol and CO2 systems.
