Residential HVAC Maintenance Technician

Expert Heating and Cooling is hiring for a Residential HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team! The Residential Maintenance Technician will provide repairs and maintenance on residential air conditioning systems and furnaces. Candidate will guarantee consistent, high-level customer relations and demonstrate the value of regular residential equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the sequence of operation for heating equipment and refrigeration cycle
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs various makes and models of HVAC equipment
• Repairs and maintains thermostats, air filters, blower fans, belts, and bearings
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs various makes and models of HVAC equipment air conditioning maintenance and furnace troubleshooting
• Communicate well with all customers and provide recommendations
• Attend training seminars for Carrier products and other brands of equipment
• Maintain personal tools according to company guidelines
• Have a commitment to high-level customer service
• Perform daily work duties associated with the trade with little to no supervision in the field

• Actively seeking individuals with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in HVAC maintenance.
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
• Must be able to lift or carry heavy objects of up to 50 pounds
• The physical ability to bend, squat, kneel, grasp, manipulate hand and power tools
• All candidates are required to undergo a pre-employment drug screen
