QUALIFICATIONS- High school diploma
- Passing score on competency tests
- Good health with average agility and dexterity
- Physical strength to perform jobs that require prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and/or working in cramped quarters
- Ability to climb and work at high altitudes on scaffolding, ladders, and perform the job requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Valid WV driver's license
- Preferred minimum of two years' experience working HVAC systems preferred
- HVAC tech licensure preferred
- Skills necessary to install, repair and maintain heating and air conditioning plants and related electrical equipment
- Install/repair/maintain motors, boilers, furnaces, stoves, heaters, refrigerators, freezers, chillers, fans, coils, traps, pumps, pneumatic controls, electrical controls, duct work, and various other HVAC equipment
- Must know voltage differences and understand hazards of mis-application.
