Medical Waste Containers - Class B Driver - 6597

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused Class B driver to operate a truck across the Taylor, MI area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, stable hours, access to some overtime and good benefits. Our vehicle fleet is modern and well‑maintained.

• Safely collect, deliver, and store medical waste containers at customer locations
• Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships
• Operate vehicles safely
• Complete deliveries on schedule, and clearly communicate changes or challenges as they arise
• Load and unload, prioritize and organize truck per schedule and needs
• Manage routes per leadership direction, delivering timely, efficient, and effective service
• Comply with DOT regulations, log hours, and perform roadside inspections
• Perform heavy lifting

• Class B license with Hazmat endorsement, clean MVR, and valid DOT medical card
• Delivery experience within any industry with manual handling (advantageous, not mandatory)
• Willingness to work full-time hours (≈40 hours per week)
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Pass 7-Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience operating a 26-foot box truck or larger
• Flexible, can-do attitude with strong customer focus
• Experience operating large vehicles (up to 26 ft box trucks) safely
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Confidence in conducting road checks levels 1-3
• Proven longevity in past employment
• Timely delivery practices
