Planning Buyer
The Planning Buyer supports Procurement team compliance, analysis and management efforts through data management and analysis, reporting, presentation support, internal audit/SOP compliance support, cost management coordination, continuous improvement projects and other initiatives. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interpret and present information in a fast-paced, complex environment. Coding and database management skills are a plus.
Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Internal data maintenance and regular reporting (ex. weekly days of inventory/shortage reporting, monthly RM Forecast report card, Cost Per Wafer reports, etc.)
- Cost owner for Procurement function across all teams; track/manage/analyze CoEn activity, report out regularly, prepare monthly analysis summary + Exec CoEn presentation, etc.
- Support internal and external requests for data and analysis, including adhoc request from DS Procurement.
- Coordinate SOP/certification process across Procurement.
- Support development and implementation of software, systems upgrades (ex. GSRM →NSRM), new programs (ex. MATS) and other systems-based improvements.
- Project management for team-wide improvements.
- Super audit and compliance management for internal, external, RBA, ISO, etc.
Here's what you'll need:
- Undergraduate degree in Business/Supply Chain Management (ideal);
Chemical/Mechanical/Material Engineering, or other related field. - Strong proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) with a background in ERP/inventory management and data‑management/coding.
- ISO/IATF audit and management experience preferred.
- Strong communication (verbal & written), data analysis, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
The current base salary range for this role is between $65,000 - $107,500. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
