Samsung E&C America, Inc. delivers world‑class engineering and construction solutions. We are currently building a state‑of‑the‑art semiconductor foundry fab in Taylor, Texas. We seek a proactive professional to maintain top‑tier site safety.
Role SummaryThe Safety Coordinator manages daily safety documentation, coordinates field tasks, and bridges communication between teams. Professional fluency in English and Korean is required to ensure compliance and smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities- Team Coordination: Communicate daily work plans and track actions with contractors.
- Schedule Tracking: Record daily work activities to keep the project on schedule.
- Document Control: Organize and update multiple project files and documents daily.
- Onboarding: Conduct safety orientations for new contractor employees.
- Training & Events: Prepare safety training sessions and site safety events.
- Meeting Admin: Prepare weekly safety meeting documents and record minutes.
- Data Analysis: Record accidents and analyze injury trends for risk prevention.
- Site Access: Manage the badging process for new contractor personnel.
- Procurement: Submit purchase requests for safety materials and gear.
- PPE Supply: Distribute Personal Protective Equipment to team members.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant construction experience preferred.
- Language: Bilingual fluency in English and Korean required (written/verbal).
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, visual, written, and verbal skills.
- Software: Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Organization: Strong organizational and multi‑tasking abilities.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to work independently and within project teams.
- Certification: OSHA certification (OSHA 10, OSHA 30, or equivalent).
