** The ERCOT Internship Program allows college students the opportunity to develop their skills in a technical and high-paced, professional work environment. Interns receive assignments and projects that aim to solve real challenges facing the electric industry.
**** The internship program also allows students to experience working alongside ERCOT employees and being part of a team. Throughout the internship, ERCOT leaders are able to evaluate each individual interns' capabilities and compatibility with ERCOT's mission, vision and values.

* ** Computer Science or business degree candidate preferred
* Eligible candidates should be enrolled in an academic bachelors or post graduate degree program maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
* Completed sophomore year
** Summary of Responsibilities
*** Workflow Documentation and Process Improvements
* Document Power Automate workflows and logs
* Figure out a way to separate training logs and mark them low priority
* Code enhancements in test environment
* Participate in testing the deployment of on-prem Microsoft Project Server
* Reverse-engineer select Power BI reports
* Operations Support
* Load engagements in Microsoft Project Online
* Assess resource capacity for proposed project starts - potentially apply AI
* Use Fluent books to back up a prod project and restore to test environment
* Other special projects within Portfolio Management

*** Workflow Documentation and Process Improvements
** Work Location - Taylor, TX
*** Interns will be required to be on-site in Taylor, TX at minimum 2 days per week, or more, as needed based on the business needs as determined by management.

This is a full-time internship for the Summer of 2026. The program will run from the start of June through the second week of August.
