Position SummarySeeking an experienced Module Integration Engineer (MIE) for Back‑end of Line (BEOL) semiconductor process.
Role and Responsibilities- Drive improvements in yield, reliability, performance and competitiveness of products.
- Mitigate production risk from BEOL module‑related technical issues.
- Lead cross‑functional teams (FE, MFG, QR, etc.) to solve BEOL issues.
- Communicate with leaderships and HQ.
- Own module integration for specific segments within the process flow.
- Own systematic defect and device/parametric yield related issues, leading projects and experiments to resolve or improve detection.
- Own critical dimension targeting and variation control within the module.
- Review yield, cost, throughput related process changes across the factory at the Change Control Board.
- Provide yield risk assessment and failure modeling for factory incidents at the Material Review Board.
- Transfer advanced technology nodes from HQ.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry or related field.
- 5+ years of BEOL process integration experience.
- Experience in fab unit processes (lithography, etch, diffusion, thin film deposition, wet cleans, CMP, etc.) beyond BEOL integration is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills, including the ability to create and present executive summaries.
- Prior experience leading cross‑functional task force teams (TFT) is required.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments while shifting focus and changing priorities in ambiguous situations.
- Interpersonal skills to elevate issues, obtain support and effect lasting change.
- Peer‑leadership and mentoring of junior engineers.
- Expertise in design of experiments; experience with data‑analysis software (e.g., JMP, Spotfire) is a plus.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Data mining, programming and/or scripting experience is a plus.
- Korean language skill is a plus.
Base salary range: $106,000 – $145,000. Additional compensation may include incentive plans based on organizational and individual performance.
