Travel CT Tech

Company: Fusion Medical Staffing

Location: Facility in Taylor, Texas

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high‑quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CT equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice.

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

• Current ARRT certification.
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills.
• Physical Abilities – Must be able to remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
• Interpersonal Skills – Must work effectively with a variety of personnel and maintain a positive attitude.
• Technical/Motor Skills – Must grasp, perform fine manipulation, and assist with procedures.
• Mental Requirements – Must cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, and work independently when needed.
• Sensory – Must possess visual acuity and effective communication abilities.

Fusion Medical Staffing – Radiology Job . Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 32 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
