Position SummaryThe EHS Emergency Response Team Manager will lead sitewide incident management and develop emergency action planning guidelines. Reporting to the Disaster Prevention EHS Senior Manager, the manager will design and execute strategies for responding to emergency hazard incidents, develop key emergency action plans and standard operating procedures, conduct hazard analyses, develop contingency plans, coordinate training drills, establish ERT membership guidelines, and facilitate business continuity management.
The role is vital for delivering safety-related training, CPR/First Aid, Fall Protection, Hazmat Response, Incident Commander functions, and county-level emergency planning committee engagement.
- Drive site compliance by gathering key information and working with stakeholders to develop and implement emergency action plans and related programs.
- Manage and lead EHS technicians and oversee daily work activities and planned objectives.
- Coordinate ERT membership guidelines and create/review emergency response procedures for incident mitigation and control.
- Develop the incident command structure for emergency response and define ERT member training requirements.
- Perform and/or manage technical duties in industrial hygiene, safety engineering, environmental sanitation, fire protection, and/or radiological health.
- Coordinate drill activities/exercises with ERT teams, the Williamson County Emergency Management Team, and local fire department.
- Develop a dedicated emergency response structure for self‑sustained incident management and mitigation control.
- Experience in emergency response management and business continuity planning.
- Familiarity with personal protective equipment for emergency incident response and mitigation.
- Certification/training in Hazmat waste operations and emergency response.
- Certification/training in Incident Commander System / National Incident Command System.
- Understanding of risk management guidelines and applicable processes.
- Ability to rapidly respond to hazardous spills or employee health emergencies, including administering life‑saving measures.
- At least 10 years of experience in emergency response or first responder roles.
Base salary range: $147,000 – $200,500 (dependent on duties, location, education, skills, qualifications and experience). Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package and may include company incentive compensation programs based on performance.
