Machine Operator; Thermoforming Process 2nd Shift

Overview

We are looking for a 2nd shift Machine Operator in our Thermoforming Process. The starting pay rate for this position is $19.62 per hour. There is an additional 10% shift differential for working our 2nd shift. The starting rate for this position is $21.58 per hour.

• Forming letters by placing sheet plastic in a vacuum machine, activating the machine and removing the formed letters.
• Reviewing production orders to assure requirements of the job.
• Locating correct letters and placing the molds on a press plate ensuring most effective utilization of material.
• Placing correct sheet on the press and heating to proper temperature, monitoring heat regularly during the forming process.
• After forming, removing molds, cutting out letters ensuring quality control per the work order, then transporting to the next team for further processing.
• Inspecting condition of molds and equipment, ensuring proper storage.
• The work environment is clean, bright, and hot around equipment.
• Reporting to our Plant Supervisor.
