Key Responsibilities

- Measuring & Cutting: Calculate dimensions, read blueprints, and precisely cut insulation materials to fit around valves, elbows, and other obstructions.
- Application: Wrap, glue, or strap insulation onto heating, cooling, plumbing, and process pipes.
- Sealing & Protecting: Cover insulation with protective outer layers like canvas, tape, vapor barriers, or sheet metal cladding to guard against physical damage and weather.
- Maintenance: Inspect existing systems, remove and dispose of damaged insulation, and make necessary repairs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict OSHA guidelines, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow hazard protocols (e.g., confined space entry,
