Openwork is currently seeking an electronic assembler to join our team in Taylor, TX. This position offers the opportunity to work in a clean, team-oriented environment assembling electronic components and devices. Key Responsibilities:- Assemble electronic components and circuit boards using hand tools and small power tools.
- Follow detailed work instructions, schematics, and diagrams to ensure proper assembly.
- Inspect parts and assemblies for defects or inconsistencies.
- Perform testing and quality control checks on finished products.
- Maintain accurate records of production and inspection data.
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
- Keep the workstation clean and organized.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in electronic assembly or a similar manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to work with small parts and use fine motor skills.
- Basic understanding of electronic components and assembly techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Pay: $18.00/hr
- Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday-Friday
