Metrology Process Technician

Position Summary

In your role as a Metrology Process Technician
, you'll be responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations, such as working with engineers and manufacturing in set-up and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documenting/following standard operating procedures, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the process and production of memory chips and logic. You’ll use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in‑line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes.

The role involves determining and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.

• Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance: follows standard operating procedures to ensure equipment/process/systems are running effectively.
• Troubleshooting: conducts failure analysis and follows scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures.
• Monitor Equipment/Process: monitors equipment and processes in current state and proactively looks for ways to improve processes.
• Teamwork and Communication: works well in a team environment and effectively communicates throughout the organization.

C Shift – Thursday through Saturday (6:45am–7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays.

B Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45pm–7:15am) with alternating Saturdays.

D Shift – Wednesday through Friday (6:45pm–7:15am) with alternating Saturdays.

• Associate’s degree or other technical certification.
• Experienced Pharmacy Tech, Dental Assistant or other medical technologist (external equivalent) or 4years equivalent technical military service.
• Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation.
• Highly capable in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Focused on continuous improvement in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
• Familiar with TPM concepts.
• Detail‑ and task‑oriented and places high value on customer service, teamwork and flexibility.
• Ability to adhere to SOPs.
• Ability to work off‑hours if necessary.
• Electromechanical aptitude, basic understanding of hand tools, pneumatics, and electricity.

The current base salary range for this role is between $20.50/hour and $55.00/hour. Base pay will depend on duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience.
