Diffusion Process Technician - Nights

Position Summary

As a Diffusion Process Technician at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, you’ll be responsible for maintaining our fleet of production tools to support world-class foundry operations 24/7. We prioritize safety, learning, and having fun. You will continuously encounter technical issues that challenge and sharpen your skills.

• Follow SOPs, PTPs, and Out of Control Action Plans (OCAPs) to work efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) including mechanical assembly/disassembly on fab equipment.
• Use structured problem solving to help find impactful solutions to complex problems.
• Effectively communicate with engineers, leaders, and teammates.
• Work in a team environment on the cleanroom floor in a full cleanroom smock.

• High School diploma is required.
• Technical degree preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude highly desired.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60/hour - $60.40/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs based on organizational and individual performance.

  Shifts:
  
  A Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45am – 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays; C Shift – Thursday through Saturday (6:45am – 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays.
• Night
  
  Shifts:
  
  B Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45pm – 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays; D Shift – Wednesday through Friday (6:45pm – 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays.
