Position SummaryThe Virtual Metrology Engineer is responsible for utilizing Virtual Metrology data coupled with other factory data to perform real‑time analysis to identify the best manufacturing paths combination to reduce yield variabilities. The role combines data science, metrology expertise, yield analysis and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver high‑impact solutions for manufacturing productivity and quality.
Role and Responsibilities- Develop and optimize new Virtual Metrology recipes for Feed‑Forward and Feedback APC's (Advanced Process Control).
- Use big data to identify best combination manufacturing paths to reduce yield variabilities.
- Derive new indices for dynamic and optimal run paths control.
- Be an expert in Data Analysis (Statistics, Design of Experiments - DOE).
- Possess knowledge of Metrology measurement techniques (THK, CON, OCD, CD, VM, IM).
- Bachelor in Engineering, Mathematics, or Systems Analysis. Master preferred.
- Able to prioritize large workloads on a daily basis (Multitasking).
- Experience with FAB automation, unit parts' processes and reporting systems.
- Experience with Spotfire, JMP or other analytics tools is a plus.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Base salary: $76,000 - $145,000. Total compensation will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; life insurance and 401(k) matching; onsite café(s) and workout facilities; paid maternity and paternity leave; paid time off (PTO) + 2 personal holidays and 10 regular holidays; wellness incentives and other supplements.
Eligible full‑time employees may also receive MBO bonuses.
