We are seeking an experienced Materials Inspector for a state-of-the-art semiconductor FAB construction project in Taylor, TX. Working under the direction of the Project Quality Manager and QA/QC Engineer you will be responsible for Material Inspection Control and Coordination, attend Material Inspection, managing any Material Quality issues and establishing mitigation plan, monitoring, trend analysis. You will also review and monitor material inspection record and delivered to Project Administrator.
- Material Inspection - Conduct material inspections for delivered and installed items according to approved submittals and specifications.
- Review and verify Material Test Reports (MTRs),
Certificates of Compliance (CoC), and Mill Test Certificates (MTC). - Coordinate sampling and testing with 3rd party.
- Prepare and submit Material Inspection Reports (MIRs) for QA/QC Manager and client approval.
- Maintain and update inspection result logs
, including pass/fail records, remarks, and corrective actions. - Upload inspection data and related documents into CPMS (Construction Project Management System) accurately and timely.
- Monitor material storage, handling, and labeling conditions on-site.
- Support NCR (Non-Conformance Report) issuance, follow-up, and closure process.
- Coordinate with QA/QC team, Contractors, and client representatives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and documentation/reporting skills.
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Experience on semiconductor or high-tech industrial construction projects preferred.
- Familiar with Samsung QA/QC system and reporting procedures preferred.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or related field preferred.
