Responsibilities
  • Perform ongoing QA/QC inspections of electrical installations, including tool hook ups, power distribution, grounding, and controls systems.
  • Verify work is installed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, NEC requirements, and company standards.
  • Document inspection results, deficiencies, and corrective actions using established QAQC procedures and reporting tools.
  • Coordinate with foremen, general foremen, and field crews to communicate quality issues and track resolution.
  • Support pre task planning and quality walkdowns to proactively identify potential issues.
  • Assist with turnover documentation, punch list generation, and close out activities.
  • Participate in inspections with client representatives, inspectors, and commissioning teams as required.
  • Ensure material installations match approved submittals and approved equipment lists.
  • Promote a culture of quality and compliance while supporting project schedule and safety objectives.
Requirements
  • Active Texas Journeyman Electrician License
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical construction or industrial installation, with QA/QC experience
  • Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, and installation standards.
  • Working knowledge of NEC, OSHA requirements, and site specific quality standards.
  • Ability to identify non conforming work and clearly communicate corrective actions.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with construction documentation tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Excel).
Preferences
  • Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, or advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with Samsung quality standards and THU scope of work.
  • Experience supporting inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Prior experience working on large, fast paced industrial construction projects.
Physical Effort/Activities

May be required to walk up to 5 miles per day, be on feet for 8-10 hours at a time, and be able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50–75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
