Position: Journeyman Electrician - (Licensed)

Schedule: M-F (5x10s + Sat 8 hrs)

Pay Rate: $39.69/hr + OT and per diem if you reside 50+ miles from job site

Location: Taylor, TX

Position Type: Full-time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Install conduit, cable trays, wiring, and electrical components in accordance with NEC and project specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawing
  • Perform electrical terminations, panel installations, and equipment hookup
  • Collaborate with other trades and project teams to ensure accurate and timely installations
  • Conduct testing and inspections to verify system integrity and compliance
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all safety protocols
  • Document work progress and report issues to supervisors
Requirements:
  • Active Texas Journeyman Electrician License required
  • Minimum of 2 years commercial or industrial electrical experience
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA standards, and electrical codes
  • Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
Preferences:
  • Familiarity with large‑scale installation projects
  • Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, high‑precision environment

Physical Effort/

Activities:

May be required to walk up to 5 miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
