Novus Technical Services USA is seeking an experienced Electrical General Foreman to lead and oversee all electrical field operations on commercial and industrial construction projects. This role is responsible for supervising multiple electrical crews, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, electrical codes, and company standards.
The Electrical General Foreman will coordinate daily electrical activities, manage manpower and material needs, and ensure all installations, troubleshooting, and system completions are executed to high-quality standards. This position serves as the primary field leader for all electrical scope and works closely with project management, superintendents, and clients to maintain schedule and productivity goals.
In addition, this role is responsible for mentoring foremen and electrical crews, supporting field training, ensuring compliance with OSHA and HSE requirements, and resolving field-level issues quickly and effectively. Strong leadership, communication, and technical electrical knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications and Requirements- 5+ years of experience in commercial electrical construction
- 2–3+ years in a foreman or general foreman leadership role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices
- Ability to manage multiple electrical crews and field operations
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
This is a safety-sensitive position; the candidate must complete and pass a background check and a ten-panel drug/alcohol screening.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Supervise, coordinate, and direct all electrical field crews on active projects
- Plan and assign daily electrical work activities to meet project schedules
- Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and system layouts
- Oversee installation, troubleshooting, and completion of electrical systems
- Ensure manpower, tools, and materials are properly allocated and utilized
- Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times
- Conduct or support daily safety meetings and toolbox talks
- Monitor productivity, quality control, and code compliance
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and clients
- Identify and resolve electrical field issues and conflicts
- Track progress and assist with reporting job status and manpower needs
- Support change order identification and scope clarification
- Mentor and train foremen, journeymen, and apprentices
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and testing devices
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Employees are required to work the project schedule, which is currently 10 hours Monday through Friday, plus 8 hours on Saturdays, and will be compensated in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines.
