Electrical Foreman
The Electrical Foreman oversees tool installation and electrical hookups in a fast-paced semiconductor environment, providing hands-on leadership for small crews while ensuring high-quality work, safety compliance, and strong customer satisfaction.
Lead and supervise small crews of approximately 2–5 electricians on electrical construction projects of limited scope and size.
Provide general support to the electrical construction team, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Install and lay out conduit systems, including routing, measuring, and securing conduit according to project requirements and applicable codes.
Install and assist with various lighting systems, ensuring proper placement, wiring, and functionality.
Support the installation of basic control systems and motor feeders, including making standard motor connections.
Analyze and interpret blueprints to understand job site requirements, electrical layouts, and installation details.
Journeyman-level electrical experience with at least 6+ years in the electrical trade.
Active TDLR (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation) electrical license.
Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and the ability to apply them on active job sites.
Strong customer service and communication skills to support effective client interactions.
This role is based in a semiconductor facility, primarily within a clean room environment that requires adherence to strict cleanliness and site-specific protocols. The work involves industrial electrical construction and tool installation in a fast-paced setting, with frequent use of electrical tools, conduit equipment, and standard construction gear. Typical hours are approximately 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with the expectation of extended shifts as project needs require.
The setting emphasizes safety, organization, and precision, and may require appropriate clean room attire and personal protective equipment in designated areas.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Taylor, TX.
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
