Novus Technical Services USA is seeking an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter with commercial construction experience to install, assemble, and maintain piping systems in accordance with project specifications and safety standards. This role requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and technical specifications, complete work accurately and efficiently, and follow both written and verbal instructions.
The Journeyman Pipefitter may provide guidance and training to apprentice-level pipe fitters while ensuring tools and equipment are used properly and safely. Candidates must have at least four years of commercial construction experience, be able to pass required background and drug screenings, and demonstrate strong knowledge of piping systems installation and repair. OSHA 10 and a clean driving record are preferred.

Qualifications and Requirements- 4+ years of experience in the commercial construction industry
- Journeyman Pipefitter certification or equivalent field experience preferred
- Must be able to pass a background and drug test
- Reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record preferred
This is a safety-sensitive position; the candidate must complete and pass a background check and a ten-panel drug/alcohol screening.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Install, assemble, maintain, and repair commercial piping systems, including carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and PVC piping
- Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and project specifications
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, and weld or join pipe using the appropriate tools and methods
- Install valves, hangers, supports, pumps, and other piping system components
- Perform pressure testing, leak testing, and system inspections to ensure proper operation
- Troubleshoot and repair piping systems as needed
- May be required to train and mentor apprentice pipe fitters
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Use equipment and tools properly and safely
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and all company safety policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Employees are required to work the project schedule, which is currently 10 hours Monday through Friday, plus 8 hours on Saturdays, and will be compensated in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines.
