Equipment Placement Coordinator

Position Summary

Coordinates the placement, positioning, and installation of equipment within industrial and semiconductor facilities. Works closely with engineering, construction, operations, and subcontractor teams to ensure equipment layouts meet design specifications, safety requirements, and project schedules.

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment placement activities in accordance with project specifications.
• Verify equipment locations, dimensions, elevations, and clearances prior to installation.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, facilities, and operations teams to resolve equipment layout issues.
• Perform field walks and site inspections to confirm equipment readiness and installation requirements.
• Review equipment layout drawings, installation packages, and project documentation for accuracy.
• Identify and communicate conflicts involving equipment placement, utilities, access routes, and maintenance clearances.
• Track equipment installation progress and provide status updates to project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with site safety policies, quality standards, and construction procedures.
• Coordinate with contractors and equipment vendors during delivery, placement, and installation activities.
• Support commissioning and turnover activities by verifying equipment locations and installation completion.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of industrial construction, facilities, manufacturing, semiconductor, or equipment installation experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. (Preferred)
• Knowledge of safety requirements and safe work practices.
