Position SummaryThe General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will be expected to perform all duties as assigned. As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality.
Associates are expected to comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies.
- Picking – use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders, stage products, stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label as client requirements; process as defined by SOPs.
- Quality Control – use documentation to ensure products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly; verify quality standards; report damages or discrepancies; process as defined by SOPs.
- Safety, Housekeeping, & Compliance – execute safety protocols, maintain cleanliness and orderliness, assist in warehouse security, comply with SOPs and OSHA/SDS standards.
- Equipment Operation – operate pallet jack and other equipment; maintain equipment and report problems; operate safely and efficiently.
- Maintenance – assist in building, grounds and equipment maintenance as assigned.
- Other Duties – perform other duties as assigned; work overtime as dictated by business.
Required Qualifications
- Education:
High school diploma or GED. - Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse (range mild to moderate).
- Language:
English (reading, writing, verbal). - Mathematical skills: basic to intermediate level for verifying quantities and inventory.
- Skills:
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to perform tasks in a timely manner. Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision. Adaptability to change and fast‑paced environment.
- 6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
- Current or prior MHE certification.
- Occasionally handling/fingering, sitting; frequently bending; constantly walking and standing.
- Ability to lift/carry and push/pull 21‑50 pounds.
- Reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, kneel.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

CompensationExpected base pay rate: $23.23 hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
