Position Summary: The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. These Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will be expected to perform all duties as assigned. As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality.
Associates are expected to comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies.
- Picking Responsibilities: Use pallet jack to accurately pick orders, efficiently pick products, stage them, stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products as determined by client requirements. All picking functions are processed per Standard Operating Procedures.
- Quality Control Responsibilities: Use appropriate documentation to ensure that all products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly. Verify product quality, report damages or discrepancies, and perform packaging, shrink wrapping, and labeling as needed. All QC functions follow Standard Operating Procedures.
- Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance: Execute all safety protocols, maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area, assist with warehouse security, and comply with corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate equipment such as pallet jack safely and efficiently; maintain equipment and report problems.
- Maintenance: Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
- Other Duties: Performed as assigned; work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to work in unregulated temperatures in the warehouse during warmer and colder months, ranging from mild to moderate.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Ability to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a fast‑paced work environment.
- English language proficiency (reading, writing, verbal).
- Basic to intermediate mathematical skills to verify quantities, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products.

Basic to intermediate level. - Physical ability to handle 21–50 pounds and perform tasks such as reaching, squatting, or kneeling.
- Six months of experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
- Current or prior MHE (Material Handling Equipment) certification.
- Occasionally: handling/fingering, sitting.
- Frequently: bending.
- Constantly: walking and standing.
- Ability to lift/carry and push/pull 21–50 pounds, reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

Compensation: For this position, the expected base pay rate is $23.23 hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
