Job DescriptionThe Quality Process Engineer supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems, manufacturing processes, and inspection methods. This role partners closely with production, engineering, vendors, and customers to ensure raw materials and finished products meet quality standards while driving consistency, efficiency, and data-driven improvements across operations.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and improving quality programs, updating control documentation, analyzing quality data, supporting testing and product development initiatives, and assisting with corrective actions and employee training. The role also contributes to process optimization, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support development and continuous improvement of quality programs and processes.
- Monitor effectiveness of quality tests and recommend improvements.
- Update and maintain quality manuals, procedures, and control documentation.
- Analyze quality and process data; prepare reports and corrective action recommendations.
- Collaborate with production, vendors, and customers to resolve quality and process issues.
- Assist with employee training on new processes and procedures.
- Support product development through testing, experimentation, and data collection.
- Improve and maintain quality data systems and RGA processes.
- Promote teamwork, servant leadership, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience (5+ years in an engineering role).
- 3–5 years of experience in packaging, stretch film, or a manufacturing engineering role.
- Strong understanding of quality systems and manufacturing processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and project management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Experience in stretch film manufacturing
- 2–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience
