Overview
Job Description The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is looking for a motivated individual with a desire to improve processes in the Traffic and Safety Division. You will be responsible for coordinating the Department's Traffic Studies (TS), Traffic Engineering Orders (TEOs), and Project Safety Analyses (PSAs) programs. Excellent organizational skills are needed to support these programs.
Principal Duties- Track and organize traffic studies, TEOs, and PSAs
- Process consultant invoices, request fund transfers, and track expenditures
- Schedule meetings with multiple stakeholders for field reviews
- Perform records management duties for Traffic & Safety
- Obtain annual state certification
- Coordinate with State Archives and agency records officers
- Serve as the point-of-contact for public records requests
- Take notes during Road Safety Audits, as needed

Minimum QualificationsCandidates must have all of the following in order to qualify:
- A Bachelor's degree, or higher, in a related field OR equivalent experience AND
- At least four (4) years of related professional experience.
Preference may be given to those with traffic engineering study experience or program management experience.

- Working Conditions:
This position primarily involves work in a typical, climate-controlled office setting that is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. Standard office safety practices (e.g., safe use of equipment, observing fire regulations) apply. - Physical Requirements:
The work is largely sedentary (sitting comfortably to perform work). However, the role may require some walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, or driving a vehicle.
