Position: Sales Manager (Nutritional ingredients)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales with existing customers while actively developing new leads and prospects in the US.
  • Promote and sell ingredient portfolio using a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach.
  • Understand customer needs and provide product recommendations aligned with market trends and technical requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders (R&D, Purchasing, Senior Management).
  • Prepare clear and effective proposals, quotations, and commercial documents.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales director, product management, logistics, quality, marketing, finance) to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor competitors, market dynamics, and opportunities for new products or applications.
  • Handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities and pipelines in CRM/ERP systems.
  • Attend key industry events, trade shows, and customer visits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in nutritional ingredients, food & beverage, or dietary supplement industries.
  • Proven experience in account management, business development.
  • Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems and excellent command of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to work effectively across cultures with strong problem-solving and decision making capabilities.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and adaptability.
