Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Part-time Mental Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Taylorville CC in Taylorville, Illinois.
ResponsibilitiesThe Mental Health Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing nursing care to incarcerated patients, including conducting health assessments, administering medications and treatments, providing patient education, documenting care, and coordinating with other members of the interdisciplinary team. The RN works closely with doctors, behavioral health professionals, and correctional staff to ensure patients have access to quality healthcare services while incarcerated, participating in and leading group classes for incarcerated patients as needed.
Shift2, 10hr shifts OR 2,8hr shifts with a 1,4hr shift
Pay Rate$48/hr + any shift differentials that apply
Qualifications- Associate's degree required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Specialty training in psychiatric nursing required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
