The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for managing day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities to support production and operational needs. This role ensures materials, equipment, and services are purchased accurately, received on time, and aligned with negotiated pricing and service agreements. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, ERP system expertise, and effective collaboration across operations, engineering, finance, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, order confirmations, and open orders within the ERP system
- Coordinate with vendors to confirm pricing, lead times, and delivery dates, escalating risks as needed
- Ensure accurate receiving, matching receivers to purchase orders, and supporting inventory accuracy
- Maintain part number data including pricing, lead times, and minimum order quantities
- Support vendor management activities including documentation, contracts, and service level agreements
- Assist with procurement reporting, KPIs, and basic spend and performance analysis
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support production schedules and continuous improvement initiatives
- Adhere to safety policies and support a culture of quality, accountability, and efficiency
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, business, information systems, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or manufacturing administration
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- Proficiency with Excel and basic reporting tools
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and finger movements
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, or climbing
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures

- Pay: Hiring Salary Range: $24.00-$29.00/hour Depending on Experience

Note: The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is eligible for a bonus.
