In this role, you will operate brake press machines (Accupress, Trumpf, and Safan Darley 35‑T) to shape and form sheet metal components. You will be responsible for reviewing blueprints, setting up machines, performing part preparation, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring finished products meet quality standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Shop
Hours:
6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday – Friday (can get 40 hours during this window and overtime is available each week)
- Operating brake press equipment to form sheet metal parts
- Machine setup, adjustments, and routine maintenance
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and work instructions
- Loading/unloading materials and preparing parts (grinding, sanding, scraping)
- Inspecting finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Brake press experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain in-house)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Primarily indoor manufacturing environment (heated, not air‑conditioned)
- Exposure to industrial equipment and moderate to high noise levels
- Required use of PPE including steel‑toe boots with met guard, safety glasses, ear protection, and other protective gear as required

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is eligible for a bonus.
