Laser Operator; Day Shift

The Laser Operator plays a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient production of metal parts by preparing materials and supporting downstream welding and fabrication processes. This position focuses on laser cutting operations, part preparation, and general support of metal fabrication equipment and workflows.

Tea, SD (right off I-29)

7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday – Friday (overtime is available as well)

Depending on Experience

• Operating laser cutting and other fabrication equipment (brake press, benders, etc.)
• Preparing parts through cutting, grinding, and drilling
• Supporting production by staging and preparing materials for welding
• Performing basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Operating forklifts to move materials and load/unload trucks
• Ensuring parts are accurately prepared and delivered to the next stage of production

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Willingness to learn new equipment and processes

• Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

• Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy
• Enthusiasm for learning new skills and technology
• Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks

• Strong communication skills (read, write, and speak English)
• Ability to work safely and follow all procedures
• Ability to perform physical labor in a manufacturing environment

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is eligible for a bonus.
