Machine Operator

In this role, you will operate state-of-the-art food packaging equipment, and ensure our production runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating all facility machinery safely and with maximum efficiency.

• Operate and staff all automated packaging and production machinery (including Side Pouch, Sauce Portioners, Vibra Cone, Likwifier, Urschel, and related equipment).
• Assist automated systems with food preparation and portioning into final packaging.
• Identify equipment irregularities, troubleshoot minor issues, and elevate major technical problems to maintenance promptly.
• Ensure machinery is thoroughly cleaned and maintained according to Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP).
• Accurately complete operational documentation and coordinate transactions with Quality Assurance and Management.
• Provide ongoing coaching, support, and informal training to junior Machine Operators.

• Minimum of 6 months of machine operation experience at Green Chef, or 1+ years of external machine operator experience.
• Strong communication skills in English
• Demonstrated reliability, good performance standing, and attendance history.
• Willingness to train and mentor team members on equipment operating procedures.
