About the Opportunity

LHH is working with a well-established real estate/property management company in Teaneck, NJ in their search for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented AP professional with strong systems experience-especially in Yardi-to take ownership of the full AP cycle in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process for multiple properties/entities

* Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently

* Review, code, and match invoices to purchase orders and contracts

* Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments (checks, ACH, wires)

* Maintain vendor records and handle W-9s and 1099 preparation

* Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

* Collaborate with property managers and internal departments

* Assist with month-end close, including AP accruals and reporting

* Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls

Qualifications

* 5+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in real estate or property management

* Required:

Yardi experience

* Strong understanding of AP processes and best practices

* High attention to detail and accuracy

* Ability to manage high-volume workload and meet deadlines

* Proficient in Excel and accounting systems

* Strong communication and organizational skills
