Job Summary:

Internal Applicants Only Reporting to the Associate Director of University Admissions, the Assistant Director assists in the planning and implementation of recruitment strategies and activities to increase enrollment of transfer students, with responsibility for a freshman recruitment territory. To meet this goal the incumbent will represent the University to various appropriate audiences, travel to off-campus locations, evaluate transcripts and award academic credit, interview students, review applications, attend on campus recruitment events, and respond to necessary correspondence on a variety of communication platforms.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent work experience, plus two years related experience in college admissions.
2. Excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills.
3. Valid driver's license, accessibility to a car, and the ability to travel locally.
4. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
