Bi-Lingual Workers Compensation Liaison

Interstate Waste Services seeks a Bi-Lingual Workers Compensation Liaison to support employees and supervisors across our transportation and warehousing operations. In this role, you will serve as the primary Spanish/English point of contact for workplace injuries and workers' compensation claims, ensuring timely reporting, accurate documentation, and clear communication with employees, supervisors, medical providers, and insurers. You will help coordinate return-to-work and light-duty assignments, maintain detailed records, and prepare claim reports.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary bilingual point of contact for injured employees, supervisors, and insurance carriers.
• Coordinate timely reporting, documentation, and follow-up of workplace injuries and workers' compensation claims.
• Maintain accurate claim files, logs, and case notes in line with company and legal requirements.
• Support return-to-work and light-duty programs, ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders.
• Collaborate with safety and operations teams to identify trends and support injury prevention efforts.
• Educate employees and supervisors on workers' compensation processes and expectations.
• Track claim status, appointments, and restrictions, escalating issues as needed.
• Prepare reports and metrics on claims activity for management review.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
• Contribute to a safety-first, team-oriented culture within transportation and warehousing operations.
